]]> http://timwright.wordpress.com/2005/09/24/setting-up/feed/ 0 timwright http://timwright.wordpress.com/2005/09/21/welcome-all/ http://timwright.wordpress.com/2005/09/21/welcome-all/#comments Wed, 21 Sep 2005 03:02:33 +0000 timwright http://timwright.wordpress.com/2005/09/21/welcome-all/ ]]> Firstly, let me say I got lucky today.  I thank Matt and the WordPress team for setting these machines and this sytem up as a viable alternative to all the other Blogging, Journaling, Diary(ing?) web publishing software out there.  It’s a welcome alternative to all that other stuff.  Secondly, this is actually my second WordPress blog, but I will be keeping up with this as well.  My main website is http://twwright.net, so this whole WordPress thing isn’t completely new to me.  And thirdly, and lastly, I have been keeping up with the WordPress 1.6 svn commits on localhost (link not accessible, hence not provided), and I do like the new look of the backend system.  It’s straight beautiful.  I’ll end this post with a little about me.  Currently I am a Computer Science student at LSU in Baton Rouge, LA (GO 2003 National Champions!), with a lot of interests in web programming (PHP & MySQL/AJAX/Insert New Web Technology Here), C/C++, Java, and the sort.  I’m very busy with classes and work, so my posts may be sporadic during the week.  This has been another appreciated invite.
